find hand-crafted contemporary wood furniture for unique clients and unique needs
i have been doing serious woodworking for about ten years, but was always building things before that.
my woodworking education is mostly from books and trial-and-error, but spending time in the summer sessions at the
college of the redwoods fine woodworking program
really opened my eyes and gave me the skills and confidence to do really good work.
if you are interested in doing woodworking, their programs are great.
also take a look at the inside passage school of fine woodworking.
my shop is located on a small farm in southwest washington, about an hour and a
half from portland, oregon and about three hours from seattle. the farm grazes cattle
during the summer. visitors to the farm and shop are always welcome -- please call or write if you would like to visit.
here are two vacation rental homes adjacent to the farm.
when not chasing the cows back into their paddocks or fixing fences or woodworking,
i work as a software engineer.
